Toxic families reveal needs that are often unmet or under met by parents and result in negative consequences when these needs aren’t addressed. This book will boldly attack the brutal realities of being raised in an environment where the family dynamic is fragile and counterproductive. There are mental consequences to such a dynamic, and now it’s time to clarify them.
This clarification will serve as a guide and support to millions of adults and children around the world. This book will give us a clear understanding of the following:
● What family is, and what family is not
● The impact of toxic familial relationships
● The signs of a toxic family
● The consequences of staying connected to a toxic family
● The impact of trauma
● The warning signs of possible trauma
● Managing family trauma
● Toxic communication amongst family
● Toxic parent situations and residuals
● Structural family issues – Daddy, Momma, Grandparent, and Sibling Issues
● Overcoming and moving forward from a toxic family
The goal of this book is to help people struggling with the toughest issue they’ll face in this lifetime, one they can identify, withdraw, and disconnect from while; ultimately [1] overcoming their connection to a toxic family.
This book for many will serve as ten years of family therapy and training wrapped up in a few pages. I will make the issues clear and concise, while providing a clear blueprint to get yourself out of a toxic family relationship(s) and into a healthy family relationship(s).
Throughout this book, I offer contributions and observations from the things that I’ve seen over the last five years in my personal life and in the lives of people I love. These findings are very disturbing and overwhelming. This has given birth to the research that has come to life in this book. There will be real-life stories, trials, tribulations, and acts of oppression that people have experienced directly from their families. Use these examples and findings, to reflect on your situation and as a roadmap to your freedom. Let’s go to work.
